Wedding Review

Our wedding at Mutton Falls was everything we dreamed of and more. Every guest was blown away by the stunning location—the 150-year-old wooden barn provided the perfect country atmosphere for our reception, while the acre of rambling gardens overlooking the Fish River and Evan’s Crown made for incredible photos.
The accommodation in the historic 1840s homestead was a highlight; with 5 ensuite bedrooms and luxurious linen, our wedding party found it exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed. Lee-Anne and Chara were a total delight—their warmth and professionalism made the entire process easy and stress-free. We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough!

Wedding Review

My husband and I had the pleasure of having our 'micro wedding' at Mutton Falls.
Mutton Falls is the most beautiful venue for a small wedding. It has beautiful character and is the perfect space to tie the knot at.
The gardens & reception hall are beautiful, they both photograph wonderfully.
The homestead is the most beautiful spot to get ready for your special day and perfectly stylish but homely for your guests to be comfortable in.
We are so incredibly grateful that we chose this venue to host the most important days of our life at.

Venue review

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mutton Falls guest house for my 50th birthday celebrations.  We hired out the guest house and the barn for a 'sparkly' themed party.  All facilities were meticulously maintained, showcasing the rich history and character of the property.  The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating the 12 guests who stayed and the barn accommodating 44 people for an evening of drinks and dancing.  The commercial kitchen had everything we needed to feed our guests and was easy to work in.  the charming ambience of the place instantly transported us back in time, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere with plenty of sparkle.  

Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and warm an friendly approach made us feel confident that we were in good hands ensuring that every need was met and request fulfilled.  I cannot recommend Mutton Falls guest house and barn highly enough.  It is a gem that provides and enchanting setting for any special occasion.  If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, look no further than this charming piece of history in the Tarana Valley.

Homestead Review

​Mutton Falls is a restful and relaxing country experience which is amazingly airtight for a genuine heritage home.  Beds are great, showers are phenomenal with great water pressure.  Cozy lounge room and beautiful airy dining room with view of the river.  Country kitchen island bench is fabulous. Great sunny spot out the back for breakfast.
